BY CAR (FROM LJUBLJANA AIRPORT – Use the same road as going from Ljubljana to Bovec.)
Start in Ljubljana, take the highway A2, directions Jesenice/Kranjska Gora/Tarvisio. Take the exit Jesenice-zahod and continue towards Kranjska Gora.
In Kranjska Gora you have two options, either go over the Vršič mountain pass (86km) or continue towards Italy, where you go over the Predel pass (83km). Both roads have signs for Bovec, Slovenia. It takes you around 2 hours.
FROM BLED, BY CAR
The same as going from Ljubljana, you have to take the highway A2 towards Jesenice/Kranjska Gora/Tarviso. Then you have to take the exit Jesenice-zahod and continue towards Kranjska Gora.
